TAXIS

There are a number of taxis companies with cars that are equipped with fare meters and can be flagged down on the street. Amongst these are Dubai Transport and Cars. These taxis always have the name of the company emblazoned on the side of the car.

It is strongly advised for safety reasons that unmarked taxis are not used. Unmarked taxis are illegal.

CAR HIRE

Cars for hire are available and the rental company will arrange temporary local driving licenses for visitors. Renters must produce their passport, two photographs and either a valid international license or national licence from most developed countries.
