Fasig-Tipton to sponsor Best Turned Out

Fasig-Tipton, the oldest Thoroughbred Sales Company in the USA, is to sponsor the Best Turned Out award at Meydan Racecourse.

Founded in 1898, Fasig-Tipton operates 13 sales across the year, including the Midlantic Two-year-olds In Training Sale which this year takes place from May 22^– 23^rd at Timonium, Maryland. Graduates from this sale include G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen winner Switzerland and Group 3 UAE Oaks winner Mnasek and it has been a popular venue for Middle East buyers in recent years.

Fasig-Tipton’s Hall of Fame is a considerable one, listing such equine stars at US Triple Crown winners Seattle Slew and American Pharoah, as well as Breeders’ Cup winners Flightline, Blind Luck, Rushing Fall and Tepin. Closer to home, Dubai winners to have been sold at one of its auctions include dual Golden Shaheen winner Mind Your Biscuits, a graduate of the New York-bred sale.

Fasig-Tipton will be giving away a cash prize to the groom of the Best Turned Out winner before each race, as well as a range of other merchandise throughout the season.
