Dubai’s homegrown dining brands join returning favourites at Meydan Racecourse

Alba Street x Himitsu makes Meydan Racecourse debuts as part of an expanded food and beverage offering for the 2026–27 season.

Dubai, UAE — An enhanced collection of dining and hospitality experiences will complement the world-class horseracing when Meydan Racecourse opens its gates for the new season on Friday, 6 November 2026.

Food and beverage will be a key pillar of the race-day experience this season, with acclaimed Dubai-born concepts joining returning favourites across the racecourse. From fine dining and premium hospitality to Japanese street food and relaxed family-friendly options, the expanded offering gives guests even more ways to enjoy a night at Meydan.

New for the 2026–27 Dubai Racing Carnival is Alba Street x Himitsu, taking over the popular Trackside enclosure. The concept brings together award-winning Japanese street food from Alba Street and expertly crafted drinks from Himitsu, recognised by The Pinnacle Guide as one of Dubai’s leading bars. Guests can enjoy relaxed outdoor lounge seating overlooking the racing before staying on for a post-racing Happy Hour until midnight.

Meydan Racecourse will also welcome back several favourites from Dubai’s dining scene. Internationally renowned brasserie and oyster bar The MAINE returns for a second season on three of the Carnival’s biggest nights: Festive Friday on 18 December, Fashion Friday on 22 January and Emirates Super Saturday on 27 February.

Dubai Racing Club has also partnered with The Meydan Hotel to introduce an entirely new experience at Silks Restaurant on the third floor. The venue will offer reserved dining tables and outdoor grandstand seating with panoramic views of the racetrack and Parade Ring. Guests can enjoy a five-hour gourmet buffet accompanied by wines and premium beverages, while a dedicated children’s play area makes it an option for the whole family.

At ground level, the Parade Ring Lounge will remain at the heart of the race-day action. The popular Paddock Garden will feature further new additions, with Flip Smash Burger, Berry Dip, Chapos Tacos, The Ship, N&Co and Pull Me Pizzeria joining established favourites Little Fox by Rowley’s and Ration’d.

The 2026–27 Dubai Racing Carnival begins on Friday, 6 November 2026 and continues until March, culminating in the Dubai World Cup meeting on Saturday, 27 March 2027.
