New look Dubai World Cup Style Stakes leads the fashion race | Dubai Racing Club
The action off the track will be as hot as what’s on it when the Style Stakes returns to the Dubai World Cup on Saturday March 25th.
 
Welcoming a new category – Best Traditional Outfit – the 2023 Style Stakes will see some of the latest trends showcased in the glamourous arena of Meydan Racecourse. The competition takes place in Apron Views, the vibrant heart of the social scene. The area boasts a variety of food and beverage options in the food court and outdoors from The Stables, The Dubliner’s and The Bubble Lounge.
 
The Style Stakes will be hosted by well-known ARN Radio stars Tom Urquhart and Maz Hakim and is sponsored by Emaar, Dorota Goldpoint and Ascots & Chapels and in collaboration with Hats and Horses. The panel of expert judges is made up of Dorota Goldpoint, Designer and owner of luxury brand Dorota Goldpoint, Gary Sweeney, Brand & Style Director Ascots & Chapels, TV presenter Dareen Al Tamimy, entrepreneur Haya Awad and well-known milliner Evelyn McDermott. 
 
Registration for the Style Stakes is free and Dubai World Cup tickets holders can register on the day at Level 1, Concourse 4 & 2 and in the Style Stakes Arena between 12:30pm and 3:20pm to collect their paddle. All participants will be assigned a paddle number and must arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of their category. All entrants must be 18 years of age or above. 
 
CATEGORIES AND SCHEDULE: 
3:20pm: Registration closes
3:50pm: Creative Hat
4:25pm: Best Traditional Outfit
5:00pm: Best Dressed Man
5:40pm: Best Dressed Couple 
6:15pm: Best Dressed Lady
 
The total prize value is over AED 300,000. Only one winner will be announced per category and there is also a range of retail, fashion, dining, professional make-up vouchers up for grabs.
