Trainer Antonio Cintra discusses AJUSTE FISCAL and UPPER CLASS in DWC Carnival

Trainer Antonio Cintra discusses his Uruguayan pupils AJUSTE FISCAL (G2 Al Maktoum Challenge Rd 1), UPPER CLASS (G3 Dubawi Stakes) and ALMORADI (G2 Al Fahidi) who will be in action on the opening night of DWC Carnival 2021.  

 The interview is conducted by Craig Evans, Race Caller with the Emirates Racing Authority.

Antonio Cintra: “It&rsquos a pleasure to be a part of this event again. I&rsquom very happy to be here. 

Ajuste Fiscal is the best horse that I brought. He is a very good horse for dirt. The distance maybe a little short for him but it&rsquos a good start. The plan is for him to go on to second and third round of Al Maktoum Challenge.”

“Almoradi is good on turf and dirt. But this kind of dirt is a little soft for him and it&rsquos not looking good. So we can try the turf.”

“Trancaferro, I believe for this kind of track which is short and straight, he can run very well.

“Upperclass is an unbeaten horse. He is 3-year-old with very good sprint. 2 kilos less is good for him, I hope he runs well. He runs only on dirt for now. But his pedigree relates to turf but we want to start with dirt.  

“The top horse is Ajuste Fiscal but the races here are tough. I believe he would get invited for World Cup.”
