Trainer Musabbeh Al Mheiri discusses ROYAL DORNOCH, MUTARAFFA and others in lead up to DWC Carnival

Trainer Musabbeh Al Mheiri discusses ROYAL DORNOCHMUTARAFFA and others in the lead up to Super Saturday on March 6.

Musabbeh Al Mheiri on Royal Dornoch who runs in the G3 Burj Nahaar: “He is a good horse and has won G3 and G2 races in Europe. He has not run with me here in Dubai. He got an invitation to run in Saudi, so I took him there. The owner wants to run him on the dirt, because he didn&rsquot perform as well on the grass in Saudi.

Taneen and Mutaraffa are both very good horses, in good form. Mutaraffa has been coming second and third, while Taneen won easily last time out. I think they have a good chance, but with high class horses in the race, everyone has a good chance.

“I wanted Zainhom to run in a seven-furlong race, but on world cup night there is no race that suits, so I am trying to run him across 1800, and maybe this can earn him an invitation for Dubai World Cup night.

The interview is conducted by Craig Evans, Race Caller with the Emirates Racing Authority.
